Riteks SC-401 is a calcium carbonate and barium sulfate scale inhibitor for use in oilfield applications. The special formula uses advanced polymer chemistry to achieve effective performance in challenging conditions.

Riteks SC-401 outperforms competing scale inhibitor technologies such as Phosphonates, Phosphate Esters, and simple Polyacrylates – especially so at high temperatures (up to 400 F) in the presence of high “contaminant” levels such as > 50 ppm Iron and TDS levels of > 150,000 ppm – making it suitable for treating waters from fresh to 100% produced.
