Riteks’ Oil Drilling Fine Grade GlassDrill Ball Bearings are engineered to optimize drilling efficiency in challenging environments, particularly in deviated holes where friction and torque can be significant obstacles. These finer-grade glass spheres act as micro ball bearings, offering even more precise control in reducing friction between the drill string and the wellbore. The fine grade is particularly effective in creating a smooth, lubricating layer, leading to lower torque requirements, smoother drilling, and reduced wear on equipment. Made from transparent, high-quality soda lime glass, these fine GlassDrill Ball Bearings are free of pits and air bubbles, ensuring consistent performance. Chemically inert, they do not alter the properties of the mud system, making them ideal for maintaining the integrity of the drilling fluid while enhancing operational efficiency.
Riteks’ Oil Drilling Coarse GlassDrill Ball Bearings are designed to optimize drilling efficiency, especially in deviated holes where friction and torque can be problematic. These solid glass spheres act as micro ball bearings, forming a lubricating layer that significantly reduces friction between the drill string and the wellbore. The reduction in friction lowers the torque needed, resulting in smoother drilling and less equipment wear. Made from high-quality soda lime glass, the GlassDrill Ball Bearings are free of imperfections and are chemically inert, ensuring they do not alter the mud system’s properties while enhancing overall drilling performance.
Riteks Hematite OG is a high grade commercial specular hematite (Fe2O3 — Iron Oxide).
For optimal performance, dosage rates should be tailored to specific wellbore
conditions. A Riteks Technical Sales Engineer (Ex-Cement Engineer) is
available to provide customized, cost-free designs to ensure maximum
effectiveness in your program.
Two grades of Q-CEL ONG® Hollow Glass Beads are available as lightweight
additives to help maintain density of cement systems or drilling fluids. These
single-cell microspheres are white and free-flowing. With significantly lower
specific gravity than competitive materials, the formulator has more leeway to reach the lower densities needed. The lower densities of ONG® Series Products favorably impacts total costs as well.
ONG® 52 are hydrophilic and have no coating and ONG® 52B are coated and
intended for use in higher temperature and pressure applications.
It is recommended that actual hollow sphere attrition be determined by lab testing at down hole conditions.
RadiLift drilling fibers offer hole-cleaning through increased carrying capacity, in both vertical and horizontal wells, without significantly altering rheological properties. RadiLift fibers are stable at high temperature applications (up to 626°F/330°C).They are also non-corrosive and chemically inert. In higher concentrations, they are used as a premium lost circulation material. Imagine the network of RadiLift created by millions of fibers per pound working in unison together to form a matrix with unparalleled carrying capacity all while healing lost zones from the inside out.
Microfume 206 UC is an undensified, constant pH, amorphus light grey
silicon oxide powder. Microfume 206 UC improves the mechanical
properties (compressive strength) and durability (via permeability
decrease). Microfume 206 UC can be used as an extender for lightweight
cements and a compressive strength enhancer for low-temperature,
lightweight cements. Microfume 206 UC offers a lower water content and
improved flowability with a higher PAI (Pozzolonic Activity Index) for
improved compressive strength development for light weight slurries.
Microfume™ 102DM is a densified silica fume additive designed for use in oilwell cementing systems. Produced from highly reactive amorphous silicon dioxide, this material provides extremely fine particles with a large surface
area that enhance cement performance under demanding well conditions. Microfume™ 102DM improves the long-term strength and durability of cement sheaths by reducing permeability and refining the microstructure. The densified form offers easier handling, blending, and bulk transport compared to undensified grades. Densified, constant PH, amorphous light grey silicon oxide powder, obtained by filtering the dusts extracted from the production of silicon metal in an electric arc furnace.
Microfume 106 UM is an undensified, constant pH, amorphous light grey silicon oxide powder. Microfume 106 UM improves the mechanical properties (compressive strength) and durability (via permeability decrease).
Microfume 106 UM can be used as an extender for lightweight cements and a compressive strength enhancer for low-temperature, lightweight cements. Microfume 106 offers a lower water content and improved flowability
with a higher PAI (Pozzolonic Activity Index) for improved compressive strength development for light weight slurries.
Riteks Latex Stabilizer-RS is designed to help compatibilize and stabilize polymeric solutions in high electrolyte applications, such as in cementitious formulas. When added to the polymeric emulsion, Riteks Latex Stabilizer-RS minimizes viscosity rise due to poor salt stability, smoothing out the compound and enhancing compound flow characteristics
RiForce™ CS-10 is a high-performance compressive strength additive formulated for use in all oilfield cement systems under low-temperature conditions. As the most aggressive member of the RiForce™ product line, it enhances ultimate and early compressive strengths, improves solids suspension, and delivers superior control of viscosity and free water. In many cases, it enables a reduction or complete replacement of traditional suspension additives.
Microfume 104 OG is a semi-densified, constant pH, amorphous light grey powder that improves compressive strengths and durability (via permeability decrease). It “flows” better than its fully densified counterparts and has a high Pozzolanic Activity Index (PAI). MicroFume 104 OG is an extender for lightweight cements and used in conjunction with or instead of conventional pozz.
Riteks CSE-4 offers a higher Pozzolonic Activity Index (PAI) for improved compressive strength development for light weight slurries. Riteks CSE-4 reacts with free lime produced during hydration of cement and produces additional cementitious material for improved compressive development. Riteks CSE-4 also provides benefits such as extender properties & free water control, all at much reduced loadings than other pozzolans.
Riteks CSE-5 offers a higher Pozzolonic Activity Index (PAI) for improved compressive strength development for light weight slurries. Riteks CSE-5 reacts with free lime produced during hydration of cement and produces additional cementitious material for improved compressive development. Riteks CSE-5 also provides benefits such as extender properties & free water control, all at much reduced loadings than other pozzolans.
CSE-6, Riteks Compressive Strength Enhancer, is a versatile additive designed to increase the compressive strength of oilfield cement systems. Unlike traditional strength enhancers that are incorporated directly into cement blends, CSE-6 functions as a true additive, allowing it to be easily included during slurry design. When added at concentrations between 3% and 10% BWOC, CSE-6 reacts with the free lime produced during cement hydration to form additional cementitious material. This reaction significantly boosts compressive strength, making CSE-6 especially effective in water-extended slurries and in regulatory environments where high strength is a priority.
With Riteks’ compressive strength additives, you can improve the durability and performance of your cement slurries while optimizing wait-on-cement times.
